In 1997, the BCCT instituted a scholarship program. To be eligible, students need to be a high school senior who is continuing their education. Participation in at least two shows or BCCT performances in the previous four years and writing an essay outlining how the BCCT has helped them is required.
Since 1997, the BCCT has given out 85 scholarships of up to $1,000 to eligible high school seniors.

Michelle C., Shandelle F., Lisa F., Jamie G., Chelsea G., Kelsey M., Erin O. and Megan S. We will miss them and wish them luck in their future endeavors!
The Cal Seymour Memorial Scholarship
In 2007, The Cal Seymour Memorial Scholarship was established in memory of our mentor and our friend. We’ll always remember “At 60 feet — Perfection!” Under his guidance and instruction, our sets were able to achieve a level of professional quality that was admired and respected by all who attended our shows. He helped to get us where we are today. The scholarship is given to a graduating senior who exemplifies Cal's love for the theater.
